Baeumler Quality Home Services blends two decades of hands‑on construction experience with two decades of trusted, on-camera credibility. A home maintenance franchise built for people who want a real operating system behind a name homeowners already welcome into their homes.

About Bryan
Bryan Baeumler started doing odd jobs for neighbours at fourteen. A business degree and a clear path toward law couldn’t compete with a tool belt, and what began as a teenage handyman business grew into more than two decades running a construction company, alongside just as long in front of the camera as one of HGTV Canada’s most recognized hosts.
That combination is uncommon: a builder who also happens to be a broadcaster, tested in real homes and in front of a live audience for most of his career. It’s the kind of track record that is hard to manufacture, and exactly why franchise candidates find it easy to trust.
The Opportunity
Home services is a growing, resilient category. Many new home-service businesses spend their first couple of years simply building awareness. A BQHS franchise starts that journey with a head start, so more of that early energy goes toward welcoming customers rather than introducing the name.
Ageing housing stock
Older homes need steady, ongoing care.
One number to call
Homeowners want a single trusted contact.
Repeat, not one‑off
Recurring demand, not a single job.
The Market
Home services is one of the largest, most durable categories there is, and yet it stays remarkably fragmented. That gap between constant demand and the absence of a trusted national name is exactly the space a BQHS franchise is built to fill.
Homes always need upkeep, in good times and lean ones alike.
Mostly small, local operators, with no brand every homeowner knows.
Maintenance and memberships bring customers back, year after year.
Why This Is Different
For two decades, people have watched Bryan Baeumler build, renovate, and problem-solve in real homes. That recognition gives a new franchise owner a genuine head start with local customers, not just a name on a sign.
Your team does the maintenance. For ticketed jobs and specialist work, you tap into The Home Depot's connections with local experts. That's how we never say no.
Add a recurring membership model, straightforward pricing, and no trade licence required to open your doors, and you have an opportunity built on fundamentals, not just a familiar face.
The Operating Model
A simpler experience for the homeowner, and a clear, direct line of ownership and revenue for your business.
Welcomes your team into homes across your territory early.

A simpler experience, and a direct line of ownership for your business.

The Owner’s Role
You don’t need a trade licence to own this business, but you do need to enjoy leading people, being a visible, trusted presence in your community, and building the local relationships that help a business grow past its first year. This role suits a natural leader as much as someone from the trades.
